To comply with fire safety regulations, fire safety works are proceeding in Coopersale Close, Woodford Green in Essex. This 11 storey building is a one of 6 high rising buildings which belong to Navestock Cres and Broadmed Road estate.
Main contractor – Lawtec Group has appointed eBrit Fire Protection to get the building to the required by law standards.
As few previous high rising buildings we have had a pleasure to work on, this one also requires quite a bit of fire stopping done.
Further to the fire risk assessment report, main focus of works undertaken, will circulate around risers and doors. All service risers and service penetrations throughout the Coopersale Close building will be properly sealed off to achieve required compartmentation. We will also fire stop panels above doors, where required, within the building.
