Glastonbury House is a 23 storey tower block in the Pimlico, London is an older people’s residential block, which houses elderly and vulnerable people. To improve safety of its residents in case of fire, major works are being carried out in it.
eBrit Fire was appointed by our long term partner and a main contractor on that project, United Living to carry out fire stopping within the building. Further to the fire risk assessment report, main focus of works undertaken, circulate around risers and doors. All service risers and service penetrations throughout the building will be properly sealed off to achieve required compartmentation
Our fire stoppers are using Bolster system to track and record progress of work. Fire stopping is being carried out slowly but steadily due to Glastonbury House staying occupied whilst works take place.
